Ahrweiler Winzer-Verein e.G.

The Ahrweiler Winegrowers' Association has been shaping the winegrowing tradition in the Ahr Valley since 1874. What began with 51 winegrowers developed over a century and a half into a permanent fixture in German viticulture. The cooperative was granted the right to distil fine spirits early on, followed by the merger with the Ahrweiler Weinbauverein in 1961, and in the 1980s the introduction of modern cellar technology led to a new quality offensive. True to the motto of Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen: "What one cannot do alone, many can", we combine craftsmanship with modern methods to produce wines of outstanding quality.

Today, we stand for Ahr wines with a strong character, fine sparkling wines and high-quality spirits. In our vinotheque and historic vaulted cellar, we invite you to enjoy our wines in an authentic atmosphere.
