What is HelfAHRwein?
The (mud) flood wave, which caused devastating damage in the Ahr Valley on the night of July 14th to 15th, 2021, also hit the Ahrweiler Winzer-Verein badly. The estimated damage is over 1 million euros. And only a small part of it is covered by insurance and reconstruction aid.
HelfAHRwein is a heart project and conducted by volunteers. Under the guidance of an expert, you take over the management of a vineyard on your own. From the first pruning to the sale of the unique, exclusive HelfAHR wine. 100% of the proceeds go towards rebuilding.
The wine is bottled starting from week 46th (mid-November) and will be shipped promptly. Items that are ordered together with the “HelfAHRwein” will also be shipped at this time.
